Haven't posted anything in a few days...and haven't had a lot of time to draw, so did some quick sketches of Flint Lockwood from Chance of Meatballs.  These could be a lot more expressive and active.

a trip to the zoo redux

A couple weeks ago (I think?) I posted the rough draft of this picture.  Used a tablet and photoshop to do the background.  Really like using a tablet -- may have to get one of my own at some point.  May noodle around with this picture a bit more, actually.  See if I can't the actual characters to look a little more hand-colored.

new brush

Did this using a different brand of brush pen.  Current level of skill aside, I like the fine lines the brush allows and how it could potentially make things look.

That was supposed to be a squirrel.  I guess it could also be a monkey?  I guess?  The lesson here is that squirrels don't look like squirrels if they have gigantic shoulders.

I still really like this one, which is surprising since I did it about two weeks ago.  I wanted to post the pencils before I potentially ruin it with inks.

I've been at a conference for the past few days, and sketched this in the corner of one of the pages we were given.  Just inked over it to make it read a little better.

Below are a couple pictures I took about half an hour ago.  I took out all the color and upped the contrast a little bit, but they still don't quite capture how white it is out there right now.  It's snowing even harder now, and shows no signs of stopping any time soon.  My guess is about a foot of snow when this is all over.
